Rachel Packer AngelRachel’s current role in Fodder Link is Sales, although often finds herself working alongside Cameron on new projects and working closely with clients to find products to fit each of their requirements. While many of the Fodder Link team come from an agricultural background, Rachel grew up on 5 acres on the outskirts of Brisbane with small livestock. Having loved that lifestyle, she also quickly learned upon the commencement of her role at Fodder Link, that feeding one biscuit of lucerne to a horse is very different to the scale of our customers’ requirements. Rachel is always keen to learn about new products and ways to feed livestock so she can help customers achieve a positive outcome.
Rachel’s professional experience prior to Fodder Link was in the construction industry as a project manager, particularly in renovations and new home construction sectors. It is this experience in managing multiple customers projects and expectations, that Rachel’s ability to work with clients continually exceeds and achieves such positive outcomes and customer relationships. Her understanding, bubbly disposition and ‘can do’ outlook is much valued within the team.
In Rachel’s down time you’ll find her on the sidelines with Cameron juggling kid activities; lots of Rugby, netball and swimming. Rachel loves to be in the kitchen baking and is continually attempting to make enough to satisfy the never-ending hunger of teenage boys. Cameron and Rachel attempt to prioritise fitness in a local CrossFit gym daily, and while both enjoy the group fitness, they say neither will ever be at the CrossFit games!

Helen ArmstrongHelen’s official title at Fodder Link is the Contracts, Logistics and Operations Manager but take away the title, Helen is happy to be contacted at any time to assist with all types of enquiries. Helen commenced with Fodder Link at its beginning, firstly working in a part-time capacity but then as Fodder Link expanded, joined the team on a full-time basis.
Helen has derived her genuine passion for agriculture and, in particular, livestock from her years as a partner in sheep, goat and cattle enterprises, firstly in the Riverina and later in Western New South Wales where, despite the flies and the dust, she was happy to be outdoors. Whilst living on a 60,000 acre property North-East of Bourke, Helen learnt resilience and the importance of animal welfare in a harsh environment.
Helen’s experience in logistics comes from roles as a Logistics Manager for a major grain trading company and many years before this, with a livestock transport business and a refrigeration transport company. From one end of the supply chain to the other, Helen has acquired a vast knowledge, all whilst working in an industry she is passionate about.
In Helen’s spare time, whenever possible, she spends time with her three grown up daughters and chocolate Labrador. A night camping out west is Helen’s ideal getaway and she would never go past a good winery without the desire to stop in.
Helen is dedicated to providing first-class customer service and will always welcome your call, whether it be about accounts, contracts or logistics.
