Notes: Mixed batch of 2023 season oaten hay from Victoria. Big crop that was cut late with seed evident. Good quality bales relatively even line with an average moisture of 11%. Well shedded with 60 to 80 bales in each shed. smell is not musty thought doesn't have much aroma. Bales are in good condition, showing some signs of weather damage on ends of bales on open side of shed. Some signs of mouse activity. This hay would be a good filler or as roughage in a ration.
